Introduction

First, welcome to Mark, a new subscriber. So far, the subscription list has four relatives and four subscribers. True, the list is not large, but it is a start.

Crest

There is a mystery involving the crest depicted on the cover page and throughout the website. If you have not discovered it, you should be able to solve the mystery by reviewing the data in the website. I will divulge the answer in next month's newsletter and what may be done to solve the problem.

Family Tree

I apologize for not taken the time to finish these pages. As I have stated many times I have much more data to present. Well, now I have much, much more. Through my parents, I am now an owner of "Molyneux Genealogy" by Nellie Zada Rice Molyneux, © 1904. The task now is to use the data in the book and follow up with internet research. One goal is to continue the tree earlier than Vivian and Adam de Molyneux. (This page has clues to the crest mystery mentioned above).

Other Links

I have added several new links. One was presented to me by my mother.

Unknown to me, Castle Gardens was the first official immigration drop off point prior to Ellis Island in New York. The websites search feature covers the years 1820 to 1913. The data is similar to Ellis Island website; i.e. country of origin and ship arrived on.

I have also added a link to the International Molyneux Family Association (IMFA). This site publishes Mx family histories from worldwide members. (Mx is the IMFA abbreviation for all spellings of the Molyneux name). There is even a quarterly "MxWorld" newsletter available for a small fee. The newsletters are jam packed with Mx family histories.

The U.S. Census Bureau contains genealogy assistance. Within the census data many times are hidden treasures not found elsewhere.

The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration contains government records online. Data not found online can be requested by mail.

The USGenWeb Project provides genealogy information for all states in the U.S. and many counties within each state all by volunteers located within each state and county.

The WorldGenWeb Project provides access to "Worldwide Network of Volunteer Genealogists"

Crest History

This page should help solve the crest mystery mentioned above.

Thoughts & Pictures

I have not added anything new. I am continuing to look for additional information to add.
